Nice work with the textures though, one day you should start modelling your own people and get a unique style as you obviously have talent but for now I really like your stuff as it is.
PS there is a reason you can buy an ibanez for a fraction of the cost of a gibson...you get what you pay for.
im not saying that ibanez is a shabby axe by any means, but gibson and fender are still the choice of most axemasters.
soap bars are killer dude, you must be aware that they are highly sought after, after years of being poohooed. i play that axe thru my 1960 gibson tubey combo and its just so warm and dynamic, thru a marshall 50w4x12 shear terror...noisy yea but so what, when the drummers bashing away and the bass players hammering away...what hum?
my personal feeling about humbukies is that by impeading the hum its impeads the sonic warmth and sounds too dry...but im mostly into blues. for thrash a hot wound is fine, but i can just hit a stompbox to get that sound.
PLUS that is a rare 68 and you dont go messin with perfection hehe. ive got a bucky paul as well, its different animal altogether...i love it as well as my strats my tele my '60 epihone coronet, and my danelectro. but if i had to choose between the pauls it would be no contest.
